In the annual awards voted by the members of the brass band internet forum 4barsrest, John Lee’s solo album ‘Whatever It Takes’ has taken a very creditable 3rd place in the solo album of the year category.
Every penny of sales of the album, recorded in September 2009 with the girls from ‘Boobs and Brass’, is donated to the charity Breast Cancer Campaign and to date sales have exceeded £12,000.
