Warrington Male Voice Choir
We spent a very enjoyable weekend at the Parr Hall in Warrington recording one of the oldest choirs in the United Kingdom, the Warrington Male Voice Choir whose origins date back to 1898.
The recording celebrates the choir’s great success and also seeks to highlight the plight of the Hall’s famous Cavaillé-Coll organ which is currently under threat of removal from the Parr Hall. Such has been the interest locally, and indeed nationally, that an e-petition has been set up with the government.
If you want to learn more about the choir’s activities visit their website at Warrington Male Voice Choir.
