A Week of International Military Music

We have just returned from spending the entire week recording a selection of the finest military musicians from around the world. The International Military Music Society, was founded in 1977 to support and promote the appreciation of military music.
The International Committee of the organisation gathered some seventy musicians and fourteen Directors of Music from around the world this week to record a double album of marches at the beautiful Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks in Birdcage Walk  London.
In addition to the invited musicians, three of the five regiments of Foot Guards of the Household Division, the Welsh, Irish and Coldstream Bands were involved in the project.
It is expected that the CD will be available from May of this year.
